Short version: We only collect your email address to give you access to Carrer Bot. We never sell it, never spam you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Carrer Bot collects minimal personal information to operate. Here is everything we collect:
localStorage on your device. It never leaves your device or reaches our servers.We do not collect your name, phone number, address, payment information, or any other personal identifiers beyond your email address.

We do not use your email address for marketing campaigns, third-party advertising, or any form of data monetisation. We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party.
Your email address is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a globally distributed key-value data store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare is SOC 2 Type II certified and maintains industry-standard security practices.
Your career profile data (interests, strengths, preferences) is stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. This data resides on your own device and is never transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser data will permanently remove it.

We do not integrate with advertising networks, social media trackers, or any data broker services.
Carrer Bot uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and general geographic distribution. This data is anonymous and cannot be traced back to individual users.
Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We also use sessionStorage in your browser to maintain your access session after you enter your email. This is cleared automatically when you close your browser tab.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies of any kind.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are located in California, you have additional rights under CCPA. We honour these rights regardless of your location.
We retain your email address indefinitely unless you request deletion. We do not have an automated expiry policy for email records.
Your career profile data stored in localStorage is retained on your device until you clear your browser data or explicitly reset the application.
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default retention policy.
Carrer Bot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at pratyushdave80@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
For material changes that affect how we use your personal data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.
